A happy birthday!

This is going to be short because it is late and I have to teach all day tomorrow, but I needed to write and share about this wonderful day I had today. It was my birthday and it couldn't have been too much better than it was today! I was trying to stay busy and not think about my birthday all day because it was the first time that I have been away from home on my birthday in all the 22 years of my life. My children are so precious because they wished me a happy birthday so many times and I got so many hugs from them; it was wonderful! The morning show announced my birthday so everyone who saw me wished me a happy birthday and my parents sent flowers to the school and that was a GREAT surprise! My children were on their best behavior today and it was great...I wish they would act that way everyday, it would make teaching so much easier and they would learn so much more every day! Overall, my children were made my day with their open hearts and warm hugs! I was truly touched by each of them today at least once!

What a wonderful way to spend my birthday!!
