Today was my last day of preschool. I was surprised at how fast the school year flew by and the end was already here. I feel extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to work with such wonderful teachers and a wonderful school. I have met some fabulous friends and mentors during the year and half I was there. My children this year were so wonderful and sweet I grew very attached and saying good bye was hard today, luckily I will see them tomorrow one last time for Zoo Day. Even though today was bittersweet, I will always have such fond memories of the time I spent at this school during my masters program!
Today we had a very busy last day and I think that was good because I had very little time to sit and think about the end of it all. We had a very fun summer party for the end of the school year. My supervising teacher had made a fun slideshow of the kiddies from the beginning of the year up to the end of the year and it was so exciting to see how much, or little, the children had changed from August! The class also surprised me with a beautiful card that made me feel so loved and sad to be going. I really am going to miss seeing everyone every day at school!
I am very excited about what the future holds even though it is not clear yet what I will be doing in the fall. In the meantime I have a wonderful family to nanny for again this summer and that is something I am very much looking forward too!
