Saturday, May 5 at 3:00 I processed in the FedEx Forum for graduation. As I sat down and listened to the never ending speeches and people walk across the stairs I thought about how nice it was to be done and how I wanted to walk, scratch that- RUN, across that stage to get that diploma!! When my row rose and walked back to line up to walk across the stage I saw all of my family and friends sitting there waving and cheering me on and I felt so blessed to have such an incredible support system. When I walked across that stage and picked up my folder then had my picture taken and sat down and opened up my folder to find NOTHING!!! So now I wait, until possibly Aug.1 when the U of M decides to mail me that lovely diploma. In the meantime I will wait for it to arrive and get my lovely student loans and a job all figured out! Oh the life of a graduate!
