The wonderful chaos of the holidays

I had 2 weeks off from work and school and the chaos of the grad school life and it was spent with lots of family and traveling and no less chaos than the semester at school. The holiday chaos is different than the school/ work chaos and stress in that family chaos can be fun! We started the vacation traveling to Albany, NY to see mi madre's family and celebrate (for the first time) Tim's graduation. It was so fun to have everyone under one roof, it is a very rare occasion!
After a couple days in NY we drove to NH and saw all of dad's family for about 5 days. We did alot of shopping and wrapping and christmas movie watching and celebrated Tim's graduation again. This party took place at the nursing home where my grandparent's live and we had so much fun in a private dining room and lots of good wine. After the dinner we went to their apartment and had a family sing- along to the 12 days of Christmas and almost got kicked out of the home! Too funny! After mimosa's and stockings we ventured back to NY to catch our flight home.
The video: I was home for 2 days which was just enough time to get some laundry done and regroup before heading off to MI to see my wonderful boyfriend and his family.
My time in MI was short, only 3.5 days but so lovely. We relaxed and watched lot's of football and movies. We had a campfire and ran errands. Eric took me to downtown Kalamazoo and we went window shopping and had a day brew at the Kalamazoo Beer Exchange along with some fried pickles! It was nice to just be together and enjoy the company of the wonderful boyfriend and his family! We rang in the New Year with Mimosa's and football, the ball dropping in Times Square, and the snowmobile/ motorcycle jump by Red bull!!
I enjoyed my last day off before work starts by watching South Carolina win its 11th game in the season in the Capital One Bowl!!! What a great start to the new year!!!!
