These times, they are a changing

I know, I know... It's been WAYYYY too long since my last post and we have a lot of catching up to do. I will start with latest news and progress to todays WONDERFUL news! :) On September 20, 2010 one of my dearest friends from ESA got married to a great man! Congratulations again Megan and Mikey Moore! I was so blessed to be a part of their special day. It was gorgeous and classy and so much fun!I don't think there was a dry eye in the house for the ceremony and first dances. Throughout September and October I was on the constant chase of work from 6-10, homework fromo 1030- 3, dinner and shower from 3-4, and class from 5-8, then to bed all to start over again the next day. Fall break was a welcome change in pace. I was able to go to Chicago and Michigan to see Eric and his family. We had a blast exploring the city together and then were so lucky to be able to join the Haecker family for a Notre Dame football game and tailgate. We had so much fun and I was so glad to get to meet all of the family finally after 4 years! By the end of October, I was becoming very exhausted and school and work were taking a toll on me. I made the decision to quit my job at the day care in order to focus on school and find something that was a little more fitting for my amount of education and goals. I am blessed to have a great new friend in one of my classes this semester who knew I was looking for a new job. She heard about a Graduate Assistantship at the Lipman School on the U of M campus and she thought of me. She let me know and I instantly got in touch with the school. The next day, I had an interview and i just found out today that I GOT THE JOB!!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I will be working 20 hours a week in a classroom as a co- teacher and they are paying for all of my tuition for school! I am so excited and lucky to have this opportunity! I can't wait to see and do the Reggio Emilia type of instruction!!!
