There's no place like.... the salon!

After a long and exhausting couple of weeks (no one told me grad school was going to be THIS HARD) the salon was the best thing to happen to me! I went in for a color and highlight appt. and it was the most relaxing couple of hours I have had since school started!! I know, I know... that's kind of ridiculous, but no joke, i work from 6-10am every day and come home and do homework until I leave for school at 4. Then I sit in class from 5-8 and drive 30 minutes home, go straight to my room and crash, face first into the pillows. Anyways.... at the salon, I got to laugh and talk about the most ridiculous things with my hair lady. We laughed about that being just about the only adult conversation I had had all week long :( and then when my hair was setting, I almost fell asleep in the chair! I hadn't felt so calm in a really loooooong time! I think I need to make a weekly appt. there just for some relaxation time. The best part though, when she washed out the foils! OMG! My scalp has NEVER been so spoiled! It literally washed all the bad from the week away right down the drain! I walked out of there today feeling absolutely fabulous. SO now I think my new grad school me is ready: new glasses and hair is fixed ( no longer a horrible not red blonde color)! Watch out world, here I come!
