summer update

It had been a REALLY long time since I updated and soooo much has happened since my last time on here: I have graduated from college (yikes!), moved home, gone to MI with Eric, NY with my mom, working, and more working!
To start with, graduation was May 8 and it was a great weekend! All of the family got into town for it and we had so many great things to do: honor cord ceremony, walking around campus, dinners and lunches at a few personal cola favorites, and the highlight was walking across that stage, only to NOT get anything in my hands. This was the biggest let down yet... the little letter they give you that says they won't be mailing it to you until AUGUST! Seriously people, August!!! I worked 4 years for that piece of paper and I really want it in my sweet little hands! The day after graduation was moving day! After a family breakfast, we moved all my stuff into my car and mom's van and headed back to the ville!
My summer has been full of work at the day care with the little ones. And they are a trip! Let me tell ya! Kids really do say the darndest things!! I have been mostly with the 2 year olds all summer long and they are hilarious! They are so imaginative and full of everything... little sponges, they are! One of the little boys can tell you how to start a car and drive it!!!
My trip to MI was AWESOME! First and foremost because I got to spend 7 whole days with Eric... this was a record for us! In the 3.5 years we have been together, we have never spent that much time together and every second was so nice! We went to the Lake and swam one day, we went to the air zoo in kalamazoo, the binder park zoo (animals galore!) and spent some good QT together just relaxing on the porch! The week flew by and it was over before I knew it. Luckily, Eric was back in town just 2 weeks later! The day after I got home from MI, I was back at the airport to go to NY to see my grandparents and Auntie with my mom! It was so fun!! We went to the NYC Ballet 2 times, shopping, and spent a lot of time in front of the fans because it was record breaking hot the ENTIRE week we were there! It was a great relaxing vaca!
Now I have ordered my textbooks for the start of the next chapter of my life: GRAD SCHOOL!
