When it rains, it pours!

Yesterday and today were full of rain from good, ole' hurricane Ida! This makes children go wild for some reason, one of them being no recess :(
Yesterday we had the accreditation team at our school in the morning! This was so neat to be a part of because I learned a lot about how to prep for this and how everything is run. It is very systematic! Luckily, I managed to escape any form of an interview from the board members about the district! YAY! We found out this afternoon that our district did get their accreditation back for the next year! This was such good news! Today you could actually breath again in the school and you could feel a complete difference in the school from yesterday to today. Everyone was back at ease and not worried about saying or doing something wrong.
Today was my last and final ADEPT observation for my college career. The only thing I have left to complete is my final evaluation by my coaching teacher and supervisor and that is on Monday. It is such a relief to be done with this portion of my college career. I finally feel like I am becoming a real teacher!
Also, I found out just the other day that when I graduate I will be considered a "highly certified teacher". This is because I have completed ADEPT training and I will have my teaching license in the state of SC. Apparently there are "certified teachers" in our school as well as highly certified teachers" and I am excited to know that when I am only just graduating college I will be considered "highly certified"!!
My last little note for today is that I am currently prepping for the PRAXIS II on Saturday. I will take it in the morning. This is the last part of getting my teaching certificate! I will take the first part this weekend and the second part in January! I can hardily believe that it is time for me to be getting my certification!! I wonder where the time went, because I sure don't think it's time for me to be graduating yet!
