the week at a glance

I finally have enough time to do a short update so I will tell you about my week. It can be described in one word: HECTIC! Monday was great because my project group, which is studying dinosaurs, did a dinosaur dig. I made plaster of paris dinosaur bones and put them in the sand table. We discussed paleontologists and fossils and then they dug the bones out of the sand table. They loved it!!! They would say, "Look Ms. Julie!!! I got one!!!" about every few seconds. On Friday we had a birthday party and a halloween party. The kids were wired but loved it so much! Life in preschool may be hectic and crazy but it is very fun! I love every minute of it!!!
Today mom and I did race for the cure in the morning and it was great! There was a wonderful turnout of around 20,000 people and Josh Pastner did the countdown to kick it off :) It was so nice to see such a great support system in our town. We were told that our race is the biggest race in the state of Tennessee!! Wonderful!
Immediately following the race I went to class for the day. I am very much looking forward to an evening on the couch watching some Gamecock football!!! beat UT!!!!
