to be young and carefree

Since I have been home from school, I have been working at the day care and I have been with the 2's, todds, and a couple days with the 4's and 5's. This has really led to be in the Christmas spirit this year. I was having a lot of trouble finding it this year with being really sick and such a stressful semester, but being with children around Christmas is great! They truely believe in the magic of the holiday- Santa, snow, reindeer! The only thing that they can talk about is what they want and what santa says (ho ho ho merry chrismas!). I think the best part is that I can convince them to do just about anything by saying, "santa's watching! You'd better be good!". This is working mericals, I don't know what I will say when Christmas is over! haha!
I have also found that they not only have no cares except who has what toy and how they can get it to be theirs! I wish I could say the same for my life. I don't have much to complain about these days, my life is great, but they have no worries at all...they literally cry over spilled milk! Oh to be young again and to have that be my biggest problem!
This time of year, I think we can take a lesson from the children and just believe in the magic of the holidays.
